I’m astonished to learn many people don’t know the New Testament was written by the hand of people who knew Jesus PERSONALLY, or knew someone that knew Him PERSONALLY.
The writers of the New Testament intentionally call our messiah Iēsous Ἰησοῦς, translated to English, the name is Jesus. Jesus is the EXACT name His mother and friends called him (Iesous). Some of the proposed guesses, like Yahawasha, Yeshua, Yashua, Yahusha, etc… are just guesses to what His name might be in other languages. But we know with absolute certainty what the writers of the NT call Him, don’t you think His PERSONAL friends know His name?
The sacred name bibles and proponents usually have one thing in common… they hate the name Jesus, like throwing water on the wicked witch of Oz. They also hate other biblical words like “Christanos” or “Christian” and the word “Church” or Ekklesia.
Let that sink in:
People who knew Jesus PERSONALLY, wrote down His name with their own hand as “Iesous” !!!!
