Meanwhile, Randolph Jefferson was 51 years old and a widower. -Eston was conceived in the last year of Jefferson’s presidency. Why didn’t the relationship continue after he retired and lived full-time at Monticello? (Eston was the last child born to Hemings) -Descendants of Madison Hemings REFUSED the DNA test.
